Shenzhen World Exhibition&convention Center is located at Zhancheng Road No.1, Fuhai Street, Bao’an District, commanding the top of the Greater Bay Area, the center of the Pearl River Delta FTZ, where the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-HongKong core development corridor and East-West development corridor converge and where the Guangzhou-Foshan-Zhaoqing,Shenzhen-Dongguan-Huizhou,Zhuhai-Zhongshan-Jiangmen city clusters meet. The venue boasts an outstanding geographic location with sound resource agglomeration and tremendous development potential.
In 2017, the Greater Bay Area, has created 12% of the economic aggregate of the country with less than 1% of the country’s land and less than 5% of the national population. Its total GDP has reached 1.54 trillion US dollars, overtaking the San Francisco Bay and New York Bay in the States. It is quite prospective that it may also overtake the Tokyo Bay Area in 5 years time and become the world’s top 1 bay area in terms of the economic aggregate. Layout of the Venue
Phase I of Shenzhen World Exhibition&convention Center covers a total ground area of 1.2142 million square meters, construction area of 1.6 million square meters and indoor exhibition space of 400,000 square meters. Upon completion of its two-phase construction, total indoor exhibition space would amount to 500,000 square meters, rendering itself the largest venue across the globe.
Shenzhen World Exhibition&convention Center is designed with an organizing spine to connect 19 halls arranged symmetrically along a 1.75-kilometer-long central corridor. Five entrances and exits assigned evenly from south to north including two separate metro stations. Such a venue layout features an efficient design that facilitates easy mobilization of visitor and truck traffic.
